I’m back at work for this week, and then on parental leave again next. I found a dime bringing my total up to $21.04, and my organic total up to $2.65.
We learned recently that there was some interest in someone buying our old house, which led us to start trying to figure out what we can sell it for. We need to charge more than we owe to pay all the fees associated, possibly even agent fees and such. Bah, my wife’s mother knows a lot about it, and she’s providing the childcare this week, so I’ll see what I can learn.
My wife and I decided we were going to take advantage of her visit by taking longer babyless walks. We’re slowed down a lot by maneuvering the stroller around large bumps and such, also you just don’t want too bumpy a ride… Hopefully longer walks will lead to more finds.

Jason, on those long unencumbered walks, play hunches. Today I parked near a restricted parking lot on a university campus. My lot was free, but while walking to the library, I noticed the coin machines that allowed entrance to the pay-to-park lot. Playing a hunch, I walked several feet out of the way to check the coin return. No luck, the machine accepted only dollars, but looking down, I found two quarters. Good luck with the walk
